pressline is a small, independent paid-subscription video site for long-form investigative briefings. Every morning our editorial desk reads the week's heaviest reporting, argues over it, and ranks a single briefing to the top — the dossier first, the film second.
The premise
Most of what competes for your attention rewards the loudest minute. Real investigation rewards the longest hour, and that work rarely survives a thumbnail and a swipe. So we do one stubborn thing each day: rank one briefing to #1, attach a dossier of the evidence behind it, and stand by the choice. The ranking refreshes at 00:00 in your own local timezone.
What members get
All 30 daily ranked briefings, re-ranked every day.
The full archive of 1,180 briefings, drawn from reporters and studios in 38 countries.
A daily dossier — leaked records, ledgers, maps, court files — so you understand a story before the first frame.
A web experience that works in any modern browser on desktop, tablet, and phone.
What we deliberately avoid
No infinite feed, no autoplay loops, no engagement bait. We optimise for finishing one story well.
No claims we can't back: no native or smart-TV apps, no offline downloads, no 4K marketing — because we haven't built those.
No fabricated ratings, review counts, or press mentions. Our stats are self-reported house metrics about our own catalogue and early-member base.
